Wawa Welcome America, 4th July Events

Every year, Philadelphia, among all other states of America celebrates the Fourth of July. However, for Philadelphia, the day is grander because it is the birth place of America and the whole city is painted in the color, red, white and blue. And when it comes to the celebration part, the residents of Philly are always in for a grandiose display. 

Wawa Welcome America is a festival that was organized in order to celebrate the Independence of America. Being an eight day festival, there were a lot of events and activities that were arranged throughout the city. The celebration started from June 27, wherein many events were free. 

The celebration turned into a colossal patriotic week with music, colonial reenactments, exhibitions, patriotic ceremonies and not to forget the pompous display of fireworks. Moreover, Independence Day Parade was also organized in Philadelphia, which is a 1.2 mile march that had almost 6,000 participants in it. Like every year, 4th of July had an amazing fireworks display in Philadelphia.
