Is morning cup of coffee important?

Coffee is one of the most popular warm drink in the world. For many people, a morning cup of coffee is priceless. Smokers and non-smokers like this special treat in the morning. A study, conducted by So Han-Seok Seo of Seoul National University, found that the smell of coffee can wake you up. This means that people who have problems with waking up in the morning, should smell and drink morning coffee. 

Women who drink 4 or more cups of coffee each day, have 20% less risk for depression. This was proved by the Harvard School of Public Health. But, women who drink decaf coffee or similar drinks, doesn’t have this benefit. They are not protected against depression. Coffee is important for men. According to the study, conducted by the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, men who drink between 2-3 cups of coffee each day, have 42% less chance for ED (erectile dysfunction).

When we wake up, our cortisol hormone levels rise. This hormone is linked to stress and waking up. It can be increased up to 50% when we wake up. So, it is better to wait, at least an hour, before you drink your morning coffee. According to the experts, the best time for morning coffee is 10 a.m.
